DVD and CD Burning Tools
The best CD and DVD burning tool we have found that's free is by far, DeepBurner (might have to dig around on their site for the free edition). DeepBurner often overshadows other payable burningsoftware!

Email Program Recommendations
Ever had Microsoft Outlook/Outlook Express lose all your email messages when something with your Windows operating system went wrong? We have! If your office is hosting it's own email server using Microsoft Exchange software, then you are safe using Microsoft Outlook because the office server is holding all your emails, not your computer.
However if you don't use "Microsoft Exchange" and don't even know what that is, please get rid of Microsoft Outlook immediately. It's terrible. Really! You'll never go back once you try out the one below.
We made the move to a popular and free email client: Mozilla Thunderbird. It's a brother of the
popular Mozilla Firefox Internet Browser. And it's fantastic.
Now if our Operating System crashes, we can simply copy and paste our Mozilla Thunderbird
folder elsewhere and still get our messages back! Plus, it has a Learning Junk Mail Filter
built in - A lot better than the one provided in Outlook. Give it a try next time you lose your emails.
Convenient data storage for the road warrior
If you're often at meetings, or on the road, or even at the office all day. Having a way to easily store and take digital data like Microsoft Word documents with you, can really come in handy.Whether you want to work on a few things at home, or take what you've done at home back to the office, you can't beat the convenience of little key-sized USB flash drive.
I highly recommend anyone in a people-facing IT or management role have some form of easy digital storage - whether through a standard USB flash drive or USB MP3 Player, or your fancy mobile phone. You can pick up a standard USB flash device for less than $15 from Office Works, even K-Mart. A very worthy investment. http://www.ht.com.au have some good deals on USB flash drives.
Your website was created ages ago, and you want to modify one or two things yourself
Unless we created your website, then your probably not going to like the answer to this: It's not going to be easy, and you are probably going to need some IT know-how. You'll likely need to "FTP" into your website and change specific files. FTP stands for (File Transfer Protocol).
We get asked all the time: What FTP program should I use?
One FTP program that we like using is called FileZilla. It's simple and good, and it's free!
FTP Overview: How FTP works is you tell the ftp program (like FileZilla) the address of the website you want to connect to, and what user name and password to login with. You'll have to find out what your login username and password is. Might be in an email somewhere if you're lucky.
After logging in, you will see a few folders, your web site will be in there somewhere! After finding and downloading the web page you want to edit, you can edit it with a program like Microsoft FrontPage or Dreamweaver, and send it back through the FTP program and it will appear on the Internet for everyone to see.
