We've come up with an interesting proposal that raises an eyebrow with our newer software development clients.
Most of the time, our software solutions are very specific and fully catered to the internal processes of the business it is designed for. If we find their problem is solved by an existing solution on the Internet, we will let them know. We aren't interested in causing unnecessary expense.
However on occasion, our discussions with clients lead us to acknowledge a a particular client might have a problem many others have, that an existing solution does not exist for. For these cases, Auroand has opened up a unique and completely optional resale strategy that benefits everyone!
Here it is:
Talk to us about getting a customised software developed/modified, what issues you are facing, and your ideas of what a good solution is, and we'll get back to you with more specific ideas and methods to get to your solution materialised! We wil also go away and learn if your idea has a market open for it. If it does and you enter decide to enter our unique resales strategy program (completely your choice), we'll cut our final development fee by up to 50 Percent!
Great, so how does that work for Auroand?
Basically, instead of handing over complete rights to the software to you (the client) as per usual, we will keep the rights and software but:
1) we will actively try to sell it
2) you will get a 10-30% commission for at least 2 years on each sale
3) you do absolutely nothing except receive cheques in the mail!
This is completely optional, but its nice to know it's available.
